September Dangles

It's the last day of September and I'm just barely blogging my dangles. Shame!! I got these cute dangles at Wood Connection (of course). I did them last year, so I think they probably have a different style now, but I love these!

Control Your Beaker!

A few weeks ago, my aunt Bonnie gave me a whole bunch of plain bags. You can't even imagine how excited I was about it! I love love love making bags. They don't call me "the bag lady" for nothing! I asked her what her favorite character was from the Muppets and she told me Beaker. 

I looked up pictures of Beaker on Google and came up with this design...

I didn't have a pattern, I just winged it. But it didn't turn out half bad, huh?

The fuzzy hair is probably my favorite part. I just used that crazy string and kept looping it and looping it. Then I took my fingers and roughed it up to make sure it looked extra fuzzy.

I can't take credit for the saying, that was all Steven. He is really crafty! (but he wouldn't admit it for anything!)

In honor of the game on Saturday...

I found this cute design at the Wood Connection and as soon as I saw it I thought of Steven. I knew I had to make it in honor of the BYU vs. Utah game last Saturday. GO UTES!!!

Oh How I Love My Ribbon Rack!

I have lots of ribbon. And I mean LOTS of ribbon. It was all stuffed in a drawer so whenever I wanted to get some out, it was just too big of a nightmare to try to find it.

So I told Steven one day, "Help! I need a ribbon rack!!" In no time at all, we drew up some plans and went to Home Depot. He did all the cutting and drilling and putting together. And I painted with a smile on my face. Isn't he amazing!
